Short version – the essentials

We care about your privacy, but we also value your time. That is why we have prepared a short version of the most important privacy rules.

  • By subscribing to our newsletter or contacting us, you provide us with your personal data. We guarantee that your data will remain confidential, secure and will not be shared with any third parties without your explicit consent.
  • We entrust the processing of personal data only to trusted entities that provide personal data processing services.
  • We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity analytics tools, which collect information about your visits to the site. Through our cookie management tool, you can decide whether you consent to the use of these cookies.

The administrator of your personal data within the meaning of data protection regulations is Damian Lew, conducting business activity under the name Smart Design Damian Lew, registered in CEIDG, Tax ID (NIP) 8151736720, REGON 181060220.

The purposes, legal bases and periods of personal data processing are indicated separately for each purpose (see: description of individual purposes of personal data processing below).

Your rights

GDPR grants you the following potential rights related to the processing of your personal data:

  • the right to access personal data,
  • the right to rectify personal data,
  • the right to erasure of personal data,
  • the right to restrict processing of personal data,
  • the right to object to the processing of personal data,
  • the right to data portability,
  • the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority,
  • the right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data if such consent was given.

The rules related to exercising these rights are described in detail in Articles 16 – 21 of the GDPR. We encourage you to read these provisions. On our part, we consider it necessary to explain that the above-mentioned rights are not absolute and will not apply to all operations of processing your personal data.

We emphasize that one of the rights listed above is always available – if you believe that we have violated data protection regulations when processing your personal data, you may file a complaint with the supervisory authority (the President of the Personal Data Protection Office).

You may also always request us to provide information about what data we hold about you and for what purposes we process it. It is enough to send a message to [email protected] .

Security

We guarantee the confidentiality of all personal data provided to us. We ensure that all security measures and personal data protection measures required by data protection law are applied. Personal data is collected with due diligence and appropriately protected against unauthorized access.

List of data processors

We entrust the processing of personal data to the following entities:

All entities to which we entrust the processing of personal data guarantee the application of appropriate protection and security measures for personal data required by law.

Purposes and processing activities

Newsletter

If you want to subscribe to the newsletter, you must provide us with your email address via the newsletter subscription form.

Data provided during newsletter subscription is used to send you the newsletter, and the legal basis for its processing is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR) given during the newsletter subscription.

Data is processed within the MailerLite mailing system and stored on a server provided by MailerLite Limited.

Data will be processed for the duration of the newsletter's operation, unless you unsubscribe earlier, which will result in the removal of your data from the database.

At any time, you may rectify your data stored in the newsletter database, as well as request its removal by unsubscribing from the newsletter. You also have the right to data portability, referred to in Article 20 of the GDPR.

Email contact

When contacting us via email, including sending an inquiry through the contact form, you naturally provide us with your email address as the sender's address. In addition, the content of the message may contain other personal data.

Your data is processed in this case for the purpose of contacting you, and the basis for processing is Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, i.e., your consent resulting from initiating contact with us. The legal basis for processing after the end of contact is the legitimate interest of archiving correspondence for internal purposes (Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR).

The content of correspondence may be archived, and we are unable to unambiguously determine when it will be deleted. You have the right to request the history of correspondence you have had with us (if it has been archived), as well as to request its deletion, unless its archiving is justified due to our overriding interests, e.g., defense against potential claims on your part.
